Receptionists

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits. We are very lucky to have a strong, dedicated team at both of our surgeries.

Community Midwives

Both St Denys and Mulberry House patients are seen by midwife Alice Girling who holds a clinic on Monday afternoons at St Denys Church.

Community Nurses

The district nursing team provide nursing care to the housebound; they work closely with the doctors and can be contacted on the surgery number.

Counsellors

The counsellor attached to Mulberry House is Clare Mason. Referrals to the counsellors are made by the doctors.
